For Le Nouveau Monde, born in 2023 from the merger between the Ancienne Gare and the Fribourg cultural center, INT worked with graphic designer Tancrède Ottiger to create a new website. It is centered on a generative map of events, accompanied by an evolving visual identity and customized internal tools, enabling the team to easily manage seasons and content via a CMS.
The generative identity, interface and navigation of the website are inspired by cartography and the discovery of new continents.
The central element of the site is the generative map, which is automatically created in relation to upcoming events for the home page. Navigation on the site revolves around this map, which is then used to enter events and discover news.
INT has developed a generative system to enable the identity to be adapted to different media.
Each new season is launched with a new color system that can be adjusted directly by the new world via the CMS (content management system).
INT has also developed a series of bespoke in-house tools to help the Nouveau Monde team manage their events, such as scheduling and task management tools to facilitate registration for the many volunteers who contribute to the life of the venue and the artists who come to perform there.
