We developed the new website for the Red Cross Museum In Geneva. Our tasks included the UI & UX design and the technical development (including a CMS with custom plugins) of the platform. The aim was to strengthen and highlight the museum's online presence while playing a leading role in communicating the museum's physical events.
One of the key aspects was to accommodate a dense and diversified amount of content while keeping a bold visual identity and a user-friendly interface. We have developed intuitive navigation methods that suggest related content to visitors (cross-referencing) to enable them to explore a topic further. Searching and sorting out the content by a variety of filters is also one of the main features.
The graphic design was developed in collaboration with the Enen studio, which created the new visual identity for the Red Cross Museum.
The platform welcomes a media library containing various types of elements such as:
Page templates are fully customizable by the customer for standard pages such as “About”, “Contact”, etc.., with a principle of sections and subsections.
Finally, all platform elements can be cross-linked via the “Learn more” and “Discover” sections.
